The NAS was established to both further research in nautical archaeology and publish the results. To this end, the NAS publishes the peer-reviewed academic journal, International Journal of Nautical Archaeology, an online newsfeed, a monograph series as well as other occasional publications.
The NAS Monograph Series is the vehicle for the publication of rather more substantial pieces of work than a paper for IJNA or another academic journal. The series is a joint imprint with Archaeopress, publishers of the BAR series.Read more
