Social History Of Ships

Are you interested in the social History of ships? Are you fascinated by the lives of those who lived at sea? This course will explore, form an archaeological perspective, 17^th, and 18^th century maritime activities on both local and global. By the end of the course not only will you have gained a greater understanding of the social history of ships but also have developed skills in analysing materials and artefacts in relations to people’s activities and other contextualised social factors.
