The two days attendance at archaeology conferences or lectures; and the completion of a short project report.

The minimum requirement for the completion of Part 2 is the attendance at two-days of conference or lectures to gain background knowledge of current work in the field of maritime archaeology.

All participants are required to submit a satisfactory report on a short survey project undertaken individually or within a group in order to complete the Part 2.
