Metals Conservation

The study of corrosion, conservation, and investigation of metal from a marine environment is very important to nautical archaeology. This course will focus on metals such as iron, copper alloys, lead based alloys and composites. The course will include a combination of lectures and practical sessions delivered by experienced maritime conservators.
