Protected Wreck Days: Invincible wreck & A1 submarine The published timetable is a guide only. Meet and dive times will be dependant on tide times. Participants will be contacted nearer the event with confirmed times. WHAT'S IT ABOUT? A chance to dive with the NAS Diving Club (NASAC) on two of England's protected wrecks in one day. We visit the Invincible shipwreck (launched 1744, sank 1758) and the A1 submarine (launched 1902, sank 1914), both of which lie at a maximum depth of c.14m. For more information, contact the office or visit these links: Invincible and A1 submarine Divers will receive a thorough dive briefing and archaeological site briefing before each dive so that they will know what to look out for and will have an understanding of the underwater site and it's place in history. WHO IS IT FOR?No NAS qualifications are required to visit these wrecks but we require you to have a minimum diving qualification of BSAC Sports Diver/PADI Advanced Open Water or equivalent. Proof of recent UK water dives will also be required. £40.00 per person (Members) £80 (non-members). This does not include equipment hire or cylinder fills. The NAS diving club has a limited supply of cylinders for hire at £10.00 per tank/dive. Five credits will be awarded to NAS members to go towards their NAS Certificate or Award. Please do not book non-refundable travel and accommodation until you have been notified by email that the course is definitely going ahead. Participants are permitted to cancel and receive a refund (minus the transaction fees incurred by the payment provider) up to four weeks in advance of a course or event date. They are also able to defer their booking to any other NAS course or event instead of receiving a refund. If participants wish to cancel within the four weeks prior to the course or event, they will forfeit their booking fee unless there are circumstances which the NAS, in its absolute discretion, considers sufficiently mitigating as to warrant a partial or full refund. Applications for a refund within the four weeks prior to the course or event must be submitted in writing (electronic submission is acceptable) and such evidence as the NAS may reasonably require must be provided to support the application.
