Learn about history of coins through the ages and why archaeologists and conservators get excited when they are found on shipwrecks (it's not because they are shiny!) Find out what coins can tell us about the past and how we can look after them for the future. Through a mixture of presentations and practical sessions, participants will get hands-on experience of recording and conserving coins so that they are preserved as a significant resource of information.
