WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?

The day will start off with a tour around the Mary Rose museum with a specialist guide and will include a visit to the temporary exhibition ‘The Many Faces of Tudor England’.

The forensic archaeology workshop will be after lunch and will start with a review of previous work done on the human remains. The workshop will then highlight the latest scientific evidence from the shipwrecked human remains gained through DNA and isotope analysis and reveal some of the amazing discoveries about the crew’s origins.

WHO'S IT FOR?

Anyone interested in the human stories of shipwrecks or forensic archaeology. This course is particularly for those people who have been meaning for years to visit the Mary Rose Museum again and just haven't quite got round to it yet!

NAS members will receive 5 credits towards their Certificate or Award.
