Director of Research, Fred Hocker, will take us on an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the conservation facilities and enlighten us with the many stories that have been revealed from investigating the remarkably preserved wreck of the Vasa.

As well as having an amazing experience, members can earn 5 NAS credits by participating in the discussion and practical sessions (more details to come!).

The tour costs £180/person for access to the museum. Transport, food and accommodation are extra.

Only 12 places are available and members can book for themselves and one non-member.

Tickets now on sale!
Secure a place for you and a friend by contacting the NAS Office on +44 (0) 23 92818419 or [email protected] and paying your £180/person by bank transfer or credit card.

Be quick or you’ll miss out!

Why not make a weekend of it and explore the many museums and heritage sites that Stockholm has to offer?

Suggested Weekend Schedule
If you are in Stockholm on the Saturday, you might want to check out:

8:20am: meet at the museum front entrance so that we can walk together to a side entrance where we will meet Fred Hocker at 8.30am. Late comers will be left behind!

Our day will commence with a behind-the-scenes tour of the museum stores led by Director of Research, Fred Hocker, with time in the afternoon to explore the rest of the museum at our leisure. We will also run a discussion session in the afternoon for those that would like to earn 5 credits towards their NAS Certificate or Award. The museum closes at 5pm.
