NAS Part III: Advanced Certificate in Foreshore and Underwater Archaeology
The NAS Part III Certificate provides the major teaching element of the programme. Through lectures, demonstrations and practical exercises in many different areas of underwater archaeology the certificate aims to create a competent fieldworker who would be an asset to any project.
Participants will attend courses in different modules in order to build both their theoretical and practical experience. Courses are taught by specialists in their field, who are best able to provide expert advice and training.
The NAS normally organises one Part III course each month around the UK. For more information on upcoming course please visit the course diary pages.
If you would be interested in an Part III course run especially for your group or club, have a particular topic that you would like a course to be organised on, or feel that you would able to teach a Part III course in your own specialist area then please contact the NAS Office in order to discuss this further.
