Nautical Archaeology is the NAS member newsletter, it aims to keep members of the public updated on activities of the Society and events or information concerning maritime archaeology around the world. It’s published in te members area of the website as a pdf file four times a year.
All members can download their newsletter through the member’s area of the website.
Back issues of the newsletter are also available from 2003 through the member’s area of the website. Hard copies of the newsletter dating back to the first editon of NATNEWS (published by the nautical Archaeology Trust) in 1976 are held in the NAS office library.
All members and friends of the NAS are encouraged to submit articles for the newsletter - including project reports, questions, views on policy or new developments within the field of maritime archaeology. The newsletter also advertises project opportunities, upcoming conferences and training courses, both in the UK and internationally.
