NAS Part III - Cordage (Rope Making)

This is a two day course in the Ancient Tecnology Part III module.

This course has been run at Fort Cumberland, Portsmouth, taught by Damien Saunders.

This course will provide an introduction to the principles of the technology of cordage. Through short lectures, practical problem solving sessions and manufacturing sessions the course aims improve individuals abilities to recognise, understand and record cordgae from archaeological sites,
