A large, active, supportive membership base is vital to the Society’s work of protecting and promoting our maritime heritage. Your support assists helps us to build a strong maritime community that allows us to act as a policy advisor, getting your views across to regional policy makers, national governments and international agencies.

 

NAS Membership

The NAS has four different membership levels so you can choose the one that suits you

IJNA

Full Member – Receive the International Journal of Nautical Archaeology (IJNA), published twice a year as well as electronic access to the full back catalogue and the NAS Newsletter four times a year, plus many member only discounts

Concessionary/Affiliate Member – Available to students, unsalaried and members of affiliate organisations. Receive all the benefits of full membership except hardcopy of the NAS Newsletter.Click here for a list of affiliate organisations


Newsletter

Newsletter Member – Receive hardcopy of the NAS Newsletter four times a year plus many member only discounts. Click here to read a copy from Winter 2009

Online Only Member – Receive the NAS Newsletter four times a year through the members area of the NAS website plus many member only discounts

NAS membersAlternatively, a Membership form is available (below) for you to print out and complete. Please forward this form along with a cheque (payable to the NAS) for the appropriate amount (or the Standing Order or Credit Card sections filled in) to the NAS Head Office. Please note: both sides of the membership form need to be completed.

Gift Aid As a charity the Society can recliam tax on membership subscriptions that you make, increasing the value of each donation. Therefore if you are a UK tax payer, please remember to complete the gift-aid section of the membership form, this costs you nothing and will help support the society!
